The Illinois Attorney General is suing two
Lake County companies over allegations they charged customers more than
$175,000 for home repair work that was never performed or not completed
correctly, authorities said.
LISLE -- Construction of an apartment and retail
complex at the former village hall site in downtown Lisle is expected to
begin this fall.
BATAVIA -- Aldermen may be interested in
raising the amount housing developers have to pay in cash or land to
school districts for the impact their plans have on schools.
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS -- A project that will bring 13 new luxury homes to Arlington Heights is moving forward. The project — Christina Court, a proposed street off East Olive Street between Rand Road and Dryden Avenue — received preliminary approval from the village board.
VOLO — Robinson Engineering, Ltd., a municipal engineering firm,
announced the opening of a new office at 26575 W. Commerce Drive, Suite
512, in Volo to accommodate the firm’s recent expansion in Lake and
