ELGIN  – Middleby Marshall/CTX, a manufacturer of automated conveyor ovens, announced its new Kitchen Automation sales and service team.
The team will be dedicated to kitchen automation through the use of Middleby Marshall and CTX conveyor cooking equipment.  
“The use of automated conveyor ovens has quickly expanded from a base pizza business into the casual dining segment,” said Mark Sieron, group president of Middleby Marshall/CTX.  “Every six hours, we are converting a casual dining restaurant to our exclusive Kitchen Automation system. The team we have put into place is highly experienced and will strongly support our customers in both sales and service.”  
Sieron announced the following promotions in conjunction with the Middleby Marshall/CTX Kitchen Automation team:

  • Chuck Freer has been promoted to vice president and general manager of the Kitchen Automation Team. Freer has been a instrumental in working with customers to gain their acceptance and adoption of conveyor technology in the casual dining marketplace.
  • Steve Borosak has been promoted to Kitchen Automation Team, corporate chef and product manager. Borosak is a critical part of the team as his background in culinary arts helps customers cook top quality, delicious food using kitchen automation.
  • Matthew Sieron has been promoted to Kitchen Automation Team, national accounts manager. Sieron will use his deep experience with Middleby Marshall and CTX oven lines to give recommendations to the national chains interested in the Kitchen Automation System.
