PARK RIDGE -- The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce will host its 84th annual installation dinner and dance, ‘A Night of Stars’ where 2012 Park Ridge Community Stars will be celebrated.
The Community Star Dinner and Dance will be held beginning at 9 p.m. January 19 at Rosewood Restaurant in Rosemont.
“As long as I’ve been the executive director, our annual dinner has always been held at the beautiful Park Ridge Country Club (PRCC); however, last January we had 225 guests and felt we were wall to wall. This time our goal is 300 guests. We’ve simply outgrown the available space in Park Ridge. Rosewood is, of course, a Chamber member and can easily accommodate our growth,” explained Gail Haller, Executive Director of the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce. “Once we add in all the additional tables for the silent auction and raffle prizes, we realized last year that we needed to make changes. We still hold several luncheons at the PRCC each year as we love it there.”
Dave Donovan will be recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The 2012 Park Ridge Community Stars are: John Bennett, Dave Loomis, Barry Masek, Scott Richter, Barbara Skadow, Jeff Sorensen, Mel Thillens, John Vanden Brink, Laura Morask, and Dennis Van Mieghem.
Tickets may be purchased at the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce, 720 Garden Steet, and include a cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, and raffles, in addition to honoring Park Ridge best and brightest stars of 2012.
