Medline also ranked very high as it related to corporate culture and employee growth, specifically its competitive compensation and commission structure.
"We're very excited to be ranked as the top place to work in our industry and this honor underscores our belief that we have the best sales force in the country," said Ron Barth, executive vice president of sales for Medline. "This survey reveals our commitment to provide our sales team not only with the industry's best products, programs and solutions, but also our desire to deliver opportunities for career development, advancement, and financial security to our employees."
Medline believes the sales function is so crucial to the success of the company that many of the company's upper management came from sales positions, including the three senior leaders: Chief Executive Officer Charlie Mills, President Andy Mills and Chief Operating Officer Jim Abrams.
